374-380<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family: " times="" new="" roman","serif";mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-bidi-font-family:="" mangal;mso-ansi-language:en-gb;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:="" hi;mso-bidi-font-style:italic"="" lang="EN-GB">A new series of various N-phenyl-2-{[5-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl]sulfanyl}acetamidehave been synthesized by the condensation of 5-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol and 2-chloro-N-(aryl)-acetamides. The novel compound structures have been established on the basis of their substituted N-chloro aryl acetamide derivatives. All the compounds have been characterized by FT-IR, mass spectra, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. These new compounds have been evaluated for their in vitro antibacterial and anti-fungal activities.
